Welcome to my blog my name is Freya and this week for reading in I have been learing about like habitates and like what has been affecting this earth so what I did was this chart and wich where what I  have read.

I did this on a google doc and it has a chart on it with what I read about and a photo of where you could find the place.

My favrouite part was when I got to read the book about it and the group discosion and I need to work on when I need to do work I need to do more of it.

Kia Ora this week for reading we have been learing about littile kid big Impact. I chose Sophie Pascoe  Malala and Harshit, I chose to do this on canva witch was a good I dea because I have a slide for each person first we read about Bethany hamilton who got her arm bit of by a tiger shark.

I enjoyed writting about this because I love learning about new pepole even If it chalenges me.

I Learnt that even If you have a missing arm or leg or anything you can do anything in life if you but your mind into It and If you belive it you can achive it.

Have you ever lernt about anyone that has made a Impact?

Hi Welcome to my blog for the last couple of weeks the class have been doing reading wich is about the Treaty of Waitangi. We have been doing this on lots of diffrent ways to show your learing like google drawing and doc. We have 9 channels to do and their is a diffrent task for each channel. I will be showing three of my tasks that I have worked on.

My favourite part was the task were I got to make script because I got to do It with Milani and Lopeta.

My least was the amount of videos we had to watch to get the awnser.

The first task I am going to show you Is the script we made were I had to awnser some question on what we have been learing about.

I took away from this that you dont have to do the same thing evrey time and that I can learn lots of stuff just from a news report like not saying that I know that the Treaty is a public holiday that is all.

My next one I will show you is the first task I worked on witch is awnsering questions from a text that you had to read I enjoyed findng the awnser.

I took away from this thing that I did not know and know I have learnt wich is very good because I did not know that much stuff.

Next I will show you is another questions but diffrent this was task 3 and It was fun and gave me a bit of a chalandge.

I learnt that even If it is hard that I can still ahive it.

Hi welcome to my blog the past Two  weeks I have been working on My Pbl, wich is Project Base Learing. I made my Project with a ballon and newspaper with pva Glue to stick the newspaper on the blowed up ballon after that I painted the ballon light blue dark blue kinda mixed. I made a Island on the top of the ballon because I was trying to make a ocen kinda thing. My favouirte part of making this is being able to paint the ballon. My least Favouirite part was my ballon poping on the first day of  PBL and having to re start.

Kia Ora, this week for reading I have been Reading about MeMe wich is your mind and that in a post that Nina posted was her doing a fish tale and she wished that she had blue eyes but she actulley she had brown eyes,when she posted the photo she had blue eyes wich ment that MeMe was her Mind. Nina slowley was getting addicted to her phone,I learnt from this that I need not to be on my phone alot and not get addicted and sometimes your phone makes you insucre about your self. My favouirete part of doing this activitey was doing the reading in a group.

Kia ora welcome to my blog this week for reaing we have been learing about rocks and what type their are, my favourite part of making this is when I got to reasearch some new rocks to write about like the marble one I had to write what the name of the rocks were and some facts and why I liked them. I learnt that their is only three type of rocks Igneous, Metamorphic and Sedimentary.I made this on a  goggle drawing.

Kia Ora, this week in writting we have been doing a task board their are options that you can choice. I made this on a goggle doc and wrote down what I wish I have in the future and my job I wont. My favouirite part of making this is thinking what Job I would want and see if I will be really rich.

My favouirite part about making this note is what my favouirte things are now and see them when I am older like next year and see if it has changed.

Hi welcome to my blog, this week I have been making this news paper about all souls day and all saints day. Their are facts on the canva poster and photos. My favourite part of making the news paper was the reasearch because I liked learing new things.

I learnt that on all souls day pepole decrate their loved ones graves that have died that their souls are getting all the sins out of them then go to hevean. I also learnt about Stfrancis that he died in Italy and he dedicated his life to christian charity.

For the last four weeks of Term 3 we were learning about ‘How we can be Champions on Peace’. 

 

Firstly we learnt about the different symbols of peace. Some of these are a yin yang 

 

These symbols represent peace because expanding, warm, outward reaching, and open –the emotion of peace is inclusive.

 

With these symbols in mind I created a Peace Artwork. My Peace Artwork represents peace because it is a ying yang with pastel colors  to show peace..

 

We also researched some real life champions of peace and wrote a short biography. I wrote about Mother Teresa I thought this person was a champion of peace because she was a noun and looked after alot of homeless people and arophen people and raised money 

 

 

We also created a peace prayer book. I have attached my peace prayer book here. 

I enjoyed learning about peace because you have a good understanding of who is peaceful and how and how you can show it.

 

I learnt that everyone can be peaceful 

One way I plan on being a champion of

On Monday the 10th of September Kaupeka year 7’s headed away to camp for two nights and three days. We went to Wainui camp. It took about an hour and a half to get there on the bus. 

 

My activity group was made up with Georgia Ari Ainsley Sophie Cody Sean Joe Joe and Nia.

My Leader for my Group was miss A and mrs Henderson 

Our first activity was coasteering. It was really fun. I jumped off the biggest rock that we were allowed to go on.

 

I Learned that you had to overcome my fear to be able to do some of the things at camp and I do not need all my friends to have fun at camp because I had so much fun and I had two friends and their were ten people in my group.

       

 

I created my poster by hand with little flip papers to read  and colored  fire which is for the campfire we did at night time. I made it all on paper and cut out color paper for  the fire which I used red, orange and yellow and Colored in The wood for the button of the paper.
